I work with many people who are experiencing stress, distress, or just want things to change for themselves. I enjoy using my skills, years of experience, and wisdom to help others.
I work with my clients so that we can figure out the best approach, drawing on many psychotherapy models and techniques, including:

My background
I am certified in EMDR by the EMDR International Association [2000], and certified as an Approved Consultant [2002]. I provide clinical consultation in EMDR to other therapists.
I am also certified in Thanatology: Death, Dying, and Bereavement by the Association for Death Education and Counseling.I have held several clinical consultation appointments, including at The Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute (JRI), the Brookline Community Mental Health Center (BCMHC), and at South Shore Mental Health Center. I have been a clinical supervisor for doctoral level psychology students at MSPP. I am also a past Director of the Psychological Testing Program at the BCMHC.
I served on the Ethics Committee of the Massachusetts Psychological Association for 10 years [2005 – 2015], and was the chair in my last year. I was also on the Board of the New England Association for the Study of Trauma and Disassociation [2006 – 2012].
I am a member of the Massachusetts Psychological Association and the EMDR International Association.
